Rocco was surrendered to MTGRR by his family who loved him very much but didn't have the ability to care for him appropriately any longer.
Report from Rocco's adoptive family"Rocco is doing great! We all love him so much! The pictures that are attached show him with his best friend, resting on his favorite spot on the couch and a very distinguished picture right after his passed the Canine Good Citizen exam.
We took him through two levels of training, mostly just to help in the bonding and we all enjoyed it. The grand finale was the exam which he passed with flying colors.
We lost our 14 year old golden almost two years ago and we didn't think we would ever have another special dog, but Rocco is just amazing. He is so sweet, exremely cuddly, and wonderful with our daughter. He has enjoyed summer vacation, whenever our daughter spends the day with her grandparents, Rocco also spends the day with his "grandparents". They have even said that Rocco needs to come spend the day with them sometimes once our daughter starts back to school. They obviously adore him too.
We feel so blessed to have Rocco in our family. We know he came from a loving family before us and that it was hard for them to give him up. So if they see this, Rocco is very loved and still has the toys he brought with him (plus a bunch of new toys, he loves squeaky toys!)
