2010 - Cody (was Charlie)
We adopted Charlie in February, and ever since the first day of getting him home, he has fit into our lives just like he was always there. The road wasn't easy, this little Golden came to us with worms and mange, he was a sick little puppy. However, after a few months of rest and a lot of loving, he has become a strong little dog, with a beautiful blonde coat, and the cutest little brown eyes (and believe me, he uses them to his advantage).
As a matter of fact, once he was all better, he was a completely different puppy, and we changed his name from Charlie to Cody to fit his new personality. He started running, faster than any other dog in the neighborhood. He also is quite the snuggle bug, and after a long day of running and playing, he loves to curl up by our feet, or plops right down next to us on the couch.
His new sister, Thibby took to him immediately, and they love to play outside, and run around the farm. Their favorite thing to do is wrestle in the grass, once they're done, they like to come inside for a refreshing drink, and a few treats.
Yep, Cody is a great little dog, and if you ask him, he won the puppy lottery.
