Finally getting around to sending you a couple of pictures. These were taken Easter Sunday. Dixie is just as wonderful as we thought she would be. She loves our grandkids and even the neighbors cat. (I wouldn't mind if she told the cat to go home.) The only flaw I've discovered is that she really really likes to eat. She doesn't beg but she did enjoy a ham sandwich I left on the counter one day. :( She was also particularly good at finding Easter eggs which is why she had her leash on in the pics. We've only left her a couple of times for an hour or two and we crated her then. She went in willingly and didn't seem to mind her stay one bit. So far she has been such a joy it is hard to imagine what a difference an animal can make in your life after only a week.
