Baxter is a young deep red Golden who came from an overcrowded Kentucky Shelter. Baxter had a plethora of issues. He was heartworm positive, had lyme disease, ear infections, and was overall, just a really sick puppy. Most of Baxter's issues could have been prevented with regular monthly preventative medicine, but instead he had to get a lot of medical treatment to get well again. Baxter is now healthy and fit, and ready to enjoy the rest of his life in a great forever home. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and absolutely loves being with people.
An MTGRR volunteer who was integral to Baxter's rescue fell in love with him, fostered, and adopted him. Baxter is best friend's with fellow MTGRR rescue dog Aggie, and is loved and adored by his human sister's, too!
