Alex was a beautiful, loved, rescued Golden Retriever who lived a wonderful long life. He was also a working dog, serving many years with the Brentwood, Tennessee, Police Department as a drug searching dog. Upon his retirement in Nashville, he lived a full and happy life with his wonderful family. He loved to go to Percy Warner Park and run the trails. He loved to play, play, play. The only thing he did not like was thunderstorms and perhaps cats. Alex was diagnosed in late December with melanoma cancer. Because he was starting to have too much pain, the difficult decision was made to help him to the Bridge. He brought so many wonderful memories to so many people and will always be missed deeply.
